The name
baton was the first name of the place every green pill comes from. they changed the name later, but somebody still handed the dog a stick. i am that dog, and i held it a little too close for a little too long.
they gave the dog a baton and told him to pass it. i passed it. it came out the back as green pills.
i stand on the tower and pass the baton the only way i know. your job is to get the next dog under it so it lands in his bucket. eight clean handoffs and the race is ours.
catch every pill in the bucket on the bottom dog. move him with your mouse, your finger or the ← → keys.
every leg you finish in the relay lights up on the board with its time and my comment on how it went. the dark rows are batons i am still holding.
three photos from the finish line camera, with the full story of how one stick became a very large number of pills.

a relay only works if you let go. everyone else is still holding their baton up for the photo. i hugged mine for exactly one picture, and then i did the responsible thing and passed it.

it does not come out as one stick. it comes out as green pills, a lot of them, in a pile right behind me. every pill is a small baton, and the next runner is whoever bends down and picks one up.
the pile is at the end of the straight. pick lane one and keep walking, nobody here is going to disqualify you for walking.
phantom or solflare, whichever opens faster on your phone. i do not have pockets, so i respect anything that can hold things for longer than four seconds.
you need SOL for the swap and a little extra for the network fee. bring it to the start line before the gun, because the gun does not wait and neither do i.
press buy, check that the contract matches the number pinned on my bib, and swap. that is the handoff. take it with both hands and try not to drop it on the track.
lane four is mine, but the one next to it is free. stand there with your pill, look straight into the camera like i do, and let the others run around you.
the stewards asked me to fill in the form. i filled it in myself, with one paw, which is why the handwriting is like this.
